DMX began rapping in the late 1990s. The rapper released his debut album The album It's Hot and Hell was Dark the 19th of May, 1998. The album was followed by other releases including... Then There Was X and the Great Depression Year of the Dog... Redemption of the Beast, Grand Champ. The album titled...And then was X, was nominated by the Grammy in 2001 for Best Rap Album in 2001. In addition to his musical career, he has been in movies such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds Always Die Alone Never Die in a room alone, bleeding Romeo should die Backstage beyond the Law Lockjaw The Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
