Ashanti Shequoiya, also popularly known as Ashanti, is a famous American singer and actress. She is a singer, songwriter from America and actress. The talent of Ashanti was discovered in her teens. She signed with Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. That same year she appeared in Fat Joe's What's Luv? Also, she was featured on Fat Joe's song"What's Luv!" as well as the Ja Rules' track Always On Time and Ja Rules track Always On Time, both of which were huge hits. The moment she dropped her single, the single, What's Luv in the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and Foolish at #1 and Foolish as her debut single, she became the only female artist to accomplish this feat.
